20111115: Final.

First Artwork: The Ringing Telephone
Before:

1. Crop Tool has been used to crop away the useless part.

2. Color the background to white using Brush Tool.

3. To only select the handle of the phone, Quick Selection Tool has been used.
4. Then it has been colored using Gradient Tool.

5. These steps, Filter > Artistic > Sponge is then to make the handle looks textural. 
So that it will not look like too much of photoshop.

6. Quick Selection Tool has been used again to select the body part of the phone.
7. Dark red, middle red and pink have been chosen to color it using Gradient tool.

8. Use Quick Selection Tool to select to bottom part.
9. Two different dark red have been chosen to color it using Gradient Tool.

10. Use Quick Selection Tool to select the buttons on the phone.
11. Burn Tool is used to change the texture of  it.

12: Brightness/Contrast has been adjusted to: 5 brightness / 96 contrast. It is to darken the surface and make it looks smoother.

13. Eclipse Tool has been used to color the round little buttons with different colors.

14. Color the Pin by drawing the outline first using Line Tool, then filled in color.

15. Use Gradient Tool to darken the surface so it can match with the background photo later.
With 7% transparency of mixture of grays.

16. Save it as JPEG File.

17. Place it again at a new layout.
18. Magnetic Lasso Tool has been used to crop the phone out.

19. The chosen background has been placed in a new layout.
Photo was taken at Ben's Restaurant, Bangsar Village.

20. The unwanted part has been covered by Rectangle Tool.

21. The cropped phone has been paste on top of the layer above and move to the position.

22. The white background has been cropped out using Quick Selection Tool & Cut Button.

23. Pick the color of the phone line using Color Picker Tool.
24. Then, use Brush Tool to fix back the telephone line.

25. "Vibration" have been cropped from the JPEG file and paste. 

26. Background Eraser Tool has been used to erase the white background from the previous photo. The same steps have been done for right side.

27. It has been saved as PSD & JPEG file.

After:


Second Artwork: Signs.
Before:

1. Place it in a new layout.

2. To select the yellow part of the parking signboard, Quick Selection Tool has been selected.

3. Then, it has been colored with 3 tones of yellow using Gradient Tool.

4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to get the inside part done.

5. Repeat step 2 & 3 for Handicap sign, Traffic light sign and Caution sign.

6. Color the white part of the Stop sign using Brush Tool.

7. Brush Tool has been used again for the white part and red part of the No Smoking sign.

8. Brush Tool has been used again for the white part of No Phone Sign.

9. It has been saved as JPEG file then place it again at a new layout.

10. Rectangle Marquee Tool / Elliptical marquee Tool has been used to crop out the square and circle in shape of signboards. 

11. Place it at the background photo that has been placed in a new layout.

12. The diamond shape signboard has been cropped using Polygonal Lasso Tool.

13. For triangle, Magnetic Lasso Tool has been used.

14. It has been saved as PSD & JPEG file.

After:

Third Artwork: Love Letter
Before:

1. It has been placed at new layout.

2. The skirt has been selected using Quick Selection Tool.
3. Gradient Tool is used to color the skirt using 3 tones of pink.

4. To color the ribbon into red, Brush Tool is used.

5. To color the envelope, Brush Tool is used again so it does not looks dirty.

6. The male has been cropped out using Quick Selection Tool.
7. Then it is placed at the background photo.

8. The Eclipse Tool has been used to create bubble. 

9. The female has been cropped out using Quick Selection Tool again. 

10. The cropped image has been paste inside the bubble.

11. Little bubbles with different colors are formed by Eclipse Tool.
12. Lastly, it has been saved as PSD & JPEG file.
